KLEIN Franziska

Dr Franziska Klein is group leader of the ‘Batteries’ group in the ‘Applied Electrochemistry’ department at the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT in Pfinztal, Germany. Her research focuses on the material development of NextGen batteries (i.e. sodium-ion batteries and solid-state batteries) and their characterization (e.g. operando analytics), special safety investigations of batteries and small modules including gas analytics, and production and data research. Dr Klein is involved in setting up the battery cell research production facility (Fraunhofer FFB) in Münster.
