BÜNTING Aiko

Completed a degree in materials science followed by a doctorate at the Jülich Research Center, with a dissertation titled « Fabrication of Electrode Structures for Lithium-Ion Thin-Film Batteries ». Subsequently joined the Foundry Institute at RWTH Aachen University, where I managed industrial projects focused on die casting of aluminum structural components and led the permanent mold casting working group. Since July 2019, I have been working as a Senior Expert in research management at TÜV Rheinland, and serving as a member of the Accompanying Research Team for the IPCEI European Battery Innovation on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
